Would you dare to have your hair shaved off for a good cause?
San Diego has been fostering such initiatives for 6 years now, with Rady Children's Hospital and Sport Clips Haircuts teaming up in San Diego for a "Be Brave and Shave" fundraiser or St. Baldrick’s Foundation that raised over $34 million in 2013.
This year again, on Saturday, March 1, downtown San Diego will be transformed into a giant barber shop highlighting the ongoing efforts of the Shave-a-Thon to become a buzz-worthy success.
It’s live on TV for the boldest future bald supporters and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
This 6th Annual St. Baldrick's Shave-A-Thon seeks to generate awareness, fund research for childhood cancer, so spread the word.
